Solid Sugaring

Solid sugaring is a 100% natural hard sugaring paste made from honey, sugar and lemon juice designed for coarse and short hair in the bikini area and it may be used also for the underarms area. We advise you not to use it if hair is shorter than 1/8 inches. Solid sugaring sticks to the hair more strongly than other kinds of sugaring.

You need to put it in a microwave for 20 seconds, so don’t forget that microwave time varies according to the quantity in the jar.

You should usually test the temperature by applying a very small drop onto your hand before using it on your body. Sugaring should never be more than 90 degree F so please test it with a thermometer to avoid skin burns.

Start with clean and dry skin and it is recommended that you use a pre-treatment sugaring cleanser and sterilized powder to prevent sugaring paste sticking to your skin and to help the sugaring to adhere to your hair. If it is hard for you to see the area on which you are applying it, then we recommend that you work in front of a mirror.

Apply sugaring to a small area against the direction of hair growth and then wait for 20 to 30 seconds before pulling the edge with your fingers. Tightly stretch the skin with 1 hand and with the other in 1 quick movement pull the hard sugaring in the same direction of the hair growth……Repeat if hair is not removed completely.
Solid Sugaring is water soluble so it very easily removed with warm water.

Dry your skin and apply sugaring toner to close pores and then apply sugaring moisturizing serum.

Wait 1 hour and then apply azulene oil to delay the hair growth and to cure irritation if any exists.

Soft Sugaring

Soft sugaring is a sugaring paste made from honey, sugar and lemon juice designed for sensitive skin areas in the front and back. It may be used for the underarms area and any part of the body, even the face and eyebrows.

You should usually test the temperature by applying a very small drop onto your hand before using it on your body.

Start with clean and dry skin. We recommend that you use pre-treatment sugaring cleanser and sterilized powder to prevent sugaring paste sticking to your skin and to help the sugaring to adhere to your hair.

If it is hard for you to see the area on which you are applying it, we recommend that you work in front of a mirror.

Apply sugaring to a small area against the direction of hair growth and then put on the strips and press it onto your skin. Rub the strip a few times…..Then, tightly stretch the skin with 1 hand and with the other in 1 quick movement pull the strip in the same direction of the hair growth ……Repeat if hair is not removed completely.

Stubborn hair needs to be removed with the circular technique when using sugaring or you may tweeze it.

What Is Natural Sugaring Hair Removal, And How Do You Use It?

The Natural, Less Painful Choice for Hair Removal

What is Natural Sugaring Hair Removal?

Many people have never heard of Natural Sugaring Hair Removal. Considered one of the treasures of Ancient Egypt, sugaring hair removal combines sugar, honey and lemon juice to create an all natural and less painful solution for hair removal.

Trust us… Sugaring will leave you with a SWEET taste in your mouth! Something you using don’t get with waxing.

Sugaring for hair removal is becoming more popular as people search for more natural and less painful hair removal solutions.

Here’s why many people love it.

All natural sugaring pulls your hair out by the root. With traditional waxing, the wax sticks to your skin AND you hair. This method causes you to pull your skin and this is where the pain, redness and irritation comes into play.

Sugaring is a great choice for hair removal all over the body, with the exception of eyebrows where threading is a better option. The sugaring option has become a huge fan of those with sensitive skin and those with thin “peach fuzz” because there is less irritation than with any other option. **Note: Soft Sugaring can be used on eyebrows.

The Different Types of Sugaring

Soft Sugaring

Soft Sugaring, also known as Brazilian sugaring is a 100% natural sugaring paste made from honey, sugar, and lemon juice. Soft sugaring is designed for sensitive skin areas. It can be used for underarms and even the face… including eyebrows.

How to Use Soft Sugaring

  1. Make sure you have clean and dry skin. We recommend you use CocoJojo Sugaring Cleanser and Sugaring Sterilized Powder to complete the drying process and sterilize the skin.
  2. If the weather is cold you may have difficulty getting the sugaring out of the jar. Warm the container for a few seconds in a microwave or place the entire container in warm water.
  3. Apply sugaring in a cool room or in front of a fan. Try to provide the best environment to avoid sweating during the sugaring process. Sweating makes the process harder and can cause irritation. Always check the temperature of your sugaring before applying. It should be slightly warm, not hot. (80 F / 27 C)
  4. Once you have cleaned and dried the skin… use a tongue depressor to apply a thin layer of sugaring, against hair growth.
  5. Work Slowly.
  6. Apply the cotton strip and press firmly into skin.
  7. Rub the strip a few times to ensure sugaring has absorbed into strip.
  8. Tightly stretch skin with one hand and with 1 swift movement, pull the strip in the direction for the hair growth.

Using Sugaring Serum and/or Azulene Oil to moisturize and reduce irritation, if any. Azulene Oil also delays future hair growth.

Standard Sugaring is the traditional Egyptian sugaring, used for centuries to remove hair from the body and face. It is also 100% natural and made with lemon, honey and sugar. Again, this sugaring paste is also designed for body and face applications.

Sugaring is the best natural way to remove short hair. Very short hair is a bit more stubborn to remove and we recommend allowing at least 6 days of growth to ensure effectiveness.

Solid sugaring is designed for coarse and short hair, like the hair usually found in the bikini area. It can also be used in other areas of the body where coarse hair is found. However, it is not recommended for facial use or on hair shorter than 1/8 inches.
